The Atlas Garage PRO8000EXT is an 8,000 lb. capacity 4-post storage lift designed for hobbyists and home garage owners who need extra vertical clearance without moving into a longer, space-consuming runway system. It combines features from the PRO8000 and PRO9000 platforms, but its defining advantage is simple: more usable height without increasing footprint length, making it ideal for tighter residential garages.

Where many taller lifts require longer runways, the PRO8000EXT focuses on vertical efficiency. It delivers approximately 79 inches of clearance under the raised runways, allowing most SUVs and pickup trucks to park underneath while a second vehicle is stored above. This layout is especially useful for garages where depth is limited but ceiling height is available. The diamond-plated runways, lock ladder system, and dual safety locks provide stable positioning during storage, while the single-point release simplifies lowering when switching vehicles.

The lift includes a caster kit with polyurethane wheels, making it fully portable within the garage once assembled. Standard accessories like steel approach ramps, wheel stops, drip trays, and a dedicated jack tray improve day-to-day usability for both storage and light maintenance tasks. It runs on 110V power with a 30-amp breaker requirement, keeping it compatible with typical home garage electrical setups.

This package also includes two Atlas RJ35 sliding bridge jacks, allowing you to lift individual wheels off the runways for brake, tire, or suspension work without removing the vehicle from the lift.

The PRO8000EXT is best suited for car enthusiasts, collectors, and home workshop owners who want to maximize vertical storage efficiency in a limited footprint. It is backed by a 2-year structural warranty and 1-year hydraulic warranty (parts only), focusing on dependable residential use rather than commercial daily cycling.
