Shipping policy

Effective Date: August 26, 2026

Car Lift Supply ships automotive lifts, tire and wheel equipment, and other professional shop equipment from manufacturer and distribution warehouses across the United States. Because many products are large or heavy, shipping methods and delivery requirements vary by product.

The Shipping section on each product page contains any delivery requirements specific to that product. All returns are governed by our global Return & Refund Policy.

Where We Ship

We ship within the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, P.O. boxes, or international destinations.

Shipping Charges

Shipping is paid by the customer. Products marked Free Shipping include standard shipping to an eligible address within the contiguous United States.

For some products, freight is calculated after we confirm the delivery address. We will contact you with the final shipping cost before releasing the order. If you decline the quote, the order will be canceled and refunded.

Liftgate service, residential delivery, limited-access delivery, inside delivery, and other special services are included only when listed on the product page or quote. Contact us before ordering if you need any of these services.

Processing and Shipping Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are reviewed and submitted for fulfillment within 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday.

  • Estimated Handling Time: In-stock items typically leave the warehouse within 3–7 business days from the order date.

An order confirmation means we received your order; it does not confirm inventory or a delivery date. Once the order ships, tracking or freight information will be sent by email.

All delivery times are estimates. Manufacturer delays, backorders, carrier capacity, weather, holidays, and other logistics issues may affect the schedule. We recommend waiting until the complete order has arrived and been inspected before scheduling installation or other contractors.

Freight Delivery

Large equipment typically ships by LTL freight. Standard freight delivery is curbside or to an accessible commercial receiving area. It does not include unloading, inside delivery, assembly, or installation.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing an accurate shipping address, delivery type, and working phone number;

  • Confirming that a freight truck can access the location;

  • Being available to schedule and receive delivery; and

  • Having a forklift, loading dock, tractor, crane, or sufficient help available when needed to unload the equipment.

A liftgate lowers eligible freight from the truck to ground level. It does not move the equipment into a garage or building, and some oversized products cannot be delivered with a liftgate.

Missed appointments, an inaccessible location, an incorrect delivery classification, or missing unloading equipment may result in storage, re-delivery, liftgate, or other carrier charges. These charges are the customer's responsibility.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Inspect every shipment before signing the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading. Check the packaging, crate, pallet, equipment, and number of pieces received.

If you see damage or missing items:

  1. Take clear photos before the driver leaves.

  2. Describe the damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. Do not write only “subject to inspection.”

  3. Accept shipments with minor damage after noting it on the receipt.

  4. Refuse the shipment if the damage is severe, then contact us immediately.

Visible damage, concealed damage, incorrect items, and missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Email support@carliftsupply.com with your order number, photos of the shipment and packaging, and a copy of the signed delivery receipt.

Keep all packaging, pallets, and crates until the claim is resolved. Do not install or use damaged equipment. Depending on the issue, the resolution may include replacement parts, a replacement product, a discount, or a refund.

Address Changes and Refused Deliveries

Contact us immediately if your shipping address needs to be changed. Changes may not be possible after an order has been released or shipped, and carrier rerouting charges are the customer's responsibility.

Do not refuse delivery because of a delay, change of mind, lack of unloading equipment, or minor packaging damage. Unauthorized refusals may result in outbound freight, return freight, storage, re-delivery, and restocking charges being deducted from the refund.

Installation and Site Preparation

Shipping does not include installation, assembly, anchoring, concrete work, electrical work, air connections, permits, or inspections.

Before ordering, confirm the product dimensions, ceiling height, concrete requirements, electrical requirements, air requirements, unloading arrangements, and local code requirements.

Warehouse Pickup

Pickup is available for products that display a warehouse pickup option. Wait for confirmation and pickup instructions before traveling to the warehouse. Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle, securing the equipment, and inspecting it before leaving.
