The Triumph NTC-950-1 is a single assist-arm tire changer designed for professional shops handling a wide range of passenger car and light-truck tires, including challenging run-flat and low-profile tires. Its swing-arm design combined with a powered assist arm helps technicians manage stiff sidewalls and difficult bead seating, reducing the effort required during tire replacement while improving control throughout the process.
What sets the NTC-950-1 apart is its single assist arm system, which presses and holds the tire bead during mounting and demounting. This makes jobs involving performance tires, run-flats, and short sidewalls much easier compared to standard tire changers. The machine provides a broad operating range with 16" to 28" inside clamping capacity and 14" to 26" outside clamping capacity, supporting wheels up to 15" wide and tires up to 43" in diameter. A powerful 5,500-lb bead breaker helps remove stubborn beads, while the integrated bead blast seating system delivers a concentrated burst of air to help seat difficult beads during inflation.
Designed for easy shop integration, the NTC-950-1 operates on a standard 110V electrical supply with a 1.5 HP motor, eliminating the need for three-phase power. The bead blast function works with shop air up to 120 PSI, providing the pressure needed for efficient tire seating. Its straightforward setup makes it a practical addition for expanding tire service capabilities.
This tire changer is ideal for independent tire shops, automotive repair facilities, dealerships, and service centers that regularly work with passenger vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks. It can also be paired with Triumph wheel balancers to create a complete tire service station, offering a reliable solution for shops building or upgrading their tire equipment lineup.
