Its two pneumatic assist arms help technicians handle wide-profile, low-profile, and run-flat tires by holding and guiding the bead during mounting and demounting, reducing the effort required for difficult tire applications.

The NTC-950-2 combines several features that improve daily tire service efficiency. The integrated bead-blast system delivers a concentrated burst of air into the sidewall to help seat stubborn beads and begin inflation, while the side-mounted 5,500-lb bead breaker provides the force needed to separate difficult beads before the tire reaches the turntable. The machine supports a wide range of wheels with 16" to 28" inside clamping, 14" to 26" outside clamping, up to 15" wheel width, and tire diameters up to 43". A 1.5 HP motor operates on standard 110V single-phase power, making it easy to integrate into most shops.

Built for versatility, the NTC-950-2 services passenger vehicles, half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks, including Load Range C, D, and E tires. It supports 14"–24" and 16.5" wheels, can handle run-flat applications, and can service motorcycle wheels when paired with the appropriate adapter. It is not intended for larger commercial truck applications such as box trucks, over-the-road trucks, or 19.5" and 21.5" wheels.
