Atlas ATEATTC-LHA Pneumatic Left-Hand Assist Arm for 200/700 Series Tire Changers

The Atlas ATEATTC-LHA is a pneumatic left-hand assist arm that bolts onto the column of Atlas 200 Series and 700 Series tire changers, adding the tooling needed to handle stiff sidewall, run-flat, and low-profile tires that a standard changer can't manage cleanly with leverage alone. It adds two working heads: a bead lifting disc that pushes the lower bead up into the wheel cavity during demounting, and a bead pressing block that holds the upper bead seated below the rim edge during the rotation pass. Both heads apply consistent pneumatic force rather than manual leverage — the difference that prevents the rim contact and technician strain that come with forcing a resistant bead by hand.

Bead Lifting Disc

The lifting disc presses up against the lower sidewall, applying controlled pneumatic pressure that forces the lower bead up into the wheel cavity so the tire can release on a tough demount. Without it, a stiff-sidewall or low-profile tire often locks the bead against the drop center and refuses to walk off the rim.

Bead Pressing Block

The pressing block applies controlled downward pressure on the upper sidewall, keeping the bead seated below the rim edge as the wheel rotates against the mount/demount head. The block geometry is shaped to ride on the tire shoulder rather than the alloy.
