What sets the PTC400 apart is its center-post structure combined with a left-hand assist arm system. The bead-pressing and bead-lifting assist arm keeps both hands free during difficult mount/demount operations, especially on stiff sidewalls and run-flat tires. The swing-arm design holds the wheel more securely in a fixed centerline position, which helps reduce flex during rotation and improves consistency when working with wider or more delicate rims.
The machine uses a high-torque 110V electric turntable (7 RPM) paired with an air-operated bead breaker delivering 6,924 lbs of force, powered by an anodized aluminum cylinder for durability. An integrated flexible bead-blast system helps seat stubborn tires quickly, while the metal mount/demount head with replaceable plastic inserts reduces the risk of damage to alloy and coated wheels during repeated use. A full support kit is included, featuring a filter/regulator/lubricator unit, tire tools, lube bucket, and brush, ensuring the machine is ready for daily shop operation.
