The TC289DAA rim-clamp swing arm tire changer builds on the TC289 platform with a larger turntable and increased clearance, giving it the room needed to handle oversized SUV and one-ton truck wheels more comfortably. This extra space is especially useful when working with wide rims or heavier assemblies that can feel restrictive on smaller machines. It includes a built-in beadblaster to help seat stiff or low-profile tires during inflation, along with an adjustable bead breaker plate that improves control when breaking stubborn or corroded beads. The rim-clamp system uses three jaw positions and protective covers to help reduce wheel damage, while the integrated oiler, filter, and regulator support consistent air operation (external air supply required).

The key upgrade is the dual assist arm setup, with both left and right assist arms included. These arms add controlled pressure during mounting and demounting, acting as an extra set of hands when working with stiff sidewalls, run-flat tires, or larger assemblies.
