Atlas WB49-2 Premium 2D Computer Wheel Balancer

The Atlas WB49-2 is a computer-controlled motorized spin balancer with automatic 2D data entry — the inner measuring gauge captures offset and diameter automatically, so two of the three dimensions needed for balancing are entered without manual input. Width entry remains manual on the base WB49-2; a separate width measuring gauge is available to upgrade it to full automatic 3D data entry, the same configuration as the WB49-2-PRO. It handles wheels up to 32 inches in diameter and accurately balances assemblies up to 150 lbs — the meaningful capacity rating being accurate balance at that weight, not just shaft support. Delivery requires access for a 53-foot truck. Backed by a 1-year parts warranty with replacement parts and wear items kept in stock.

The Split-Weight Function calculates hidden weight placement behind the spokes automatically for alloy wheels where visible weights aren't acceptable, and an automatic LED light illuminates the inside of the rim during weight application. Auto-positioning rotates the wheel to the correct weight location and holds it, and self-diagnosis with error code display lets operators identify and address problems in-shop without a service call. Self-calibration maintains accuracy over time. The raised display and large wheel weight tray are practical shop-floor details — the display reads clearly from a working position without stooping, and the tray keeps weights accessible without a separate bin. The balancer runs static and dynamic modes, rapid optimization (OPT), and displays in grams or ounces and mm or inches. Included: plastic quick-release nut, four centering cones (1.75" to 5.18" center holes), wheel weight pliers, and measuring calipers. A light truck adapter kit for larger center holes and offset wheels is available separately.
