The two-stage belt-driven pump uses a cast-iron cylinder sleeve and splash lubrication with an oil sight glass. Air is compressed in two stages with cooling between them, helping the pump reach 175 PSI without forcing the entire compression load through a single hot stage. The triple-pass aftercooler then reduces discharge-air temperature before the air enters the tank, allowing more moisture to condense at the compressor rather than downstream in your air lines. The pressurized automatic tank drain removes that condensate without relying on an operator to remember a daily draining routine. A low-oil switch provides another layer of protection by stopping the compressor if the pump's oil level becomes too low.
This compressor is a strong fit for low-ceiling garages, basement workshops, one- and two-bay automotive shops, and home or hobby garages with adequate single-phase electrical capacity. The horizontal configuration works particularly well when the compressor needs to sit along a wall rather than occupy the vertical space required by a tall tank. BelAire lists a 40-amp breaker, but a licensed electrician should verify the service, conductor sizing and disconnect requirements for your installation. The compressor includes its aftercooler and automatic drain, but an air dryer is not included; BelAire recommends the CPXHT25 for applications requiring additional moisture control.

Certification, Stated Plainly

Shipping & Delivery
Ships by palletized freight to the lower 48 states. At 501 lbs, plan for a loading dock, forklift or pallet jack with hard, level ground for unloading. If that is not available, terminal pickup may be easier.
Residential delivery carries an additional fee, quoted with shipping at checkout.
Inspect before signing. Check the tank, aftercooler, belt guard, gauge and motor for dents or damage. Record any issues on the delivery paperwork with the driver present and take photographs before accepting the shipment.
Warranty
The compressor includes a 2-Year bumper-to-bumper factory warranty, with no additional purchase required. The warranty document supplied with the unit governs coverage, so keep it with your invoice and records.
