The EMAX ERVK070001 is a complete 7.5 HP single-phase rotary screw air compressor package that combines a continuous-duty compressor, 30 CFM refrigerated air dryer, and 120-gallon horizontal receiver tank into one factory-assembled system. Delivering 29 CFM at up to 145 PSI, it runs on standard 230V single-phase power, making it a practical choice for shops that need consistent compressed air without upgrading to three-phase electrical service. The oil-injected rotary screw air end supports up to 100% duty cycle operation for long workdays where piston compressors may require downtime.
The rotary screw design provides steady airflow with less cycling, while the integrated refrigerated dryer removes moisture before air reaches your tools, lines, and equipment. The swing-arm dryer mount allows the dryer to move away from the cabinet for easier maintenance access, and the 120-gallon horizontal tank provides additional air storage to handle changing demand. A dual-timer automatic drain removes condensate on a preset schedule, helping reduce moisture buildup without manual draining.
Built for automotive repair shops, fabrication facilities, commercial garages, and small production environments that rely on compressed air throughout the day. The factory-assembled package arrives with hydraulic interconnect hoses, digital controls, automatic draining, and initial filters and oil, simplifying installation while providing a reliable air source for lifts, air tools, and shop equipment.

Warranty
The rotary screw compressor includes a 1-year standard warranty from the date of delivery, covering the rotary screw pump, electric motor, and all components against defects in materials and workmanship, plus 1 year of warranty labor from an authorized technician. The included refrigerated dryer carries its own 1-year warranty covering materials, workmanship, parts, and labor.
Extended coverage is available through EMAX warranty programs. Compressor coverage can be extended to 10 years on the rotary screw pump, 5 years on the single-phase motor, and 5 years on other components by enrolling in the extended plan and following the SMART OIL maintenance schedule. Enrollment in the SMART OIL auto-ship program upgrades pump coverage to a Limited Lifetime warranty. The dryer warranty can be extended to 3 years with registration and annual filter-kit replacement.
Extended and lifetime coverage require the use of EMAX SMART OIL and approved filters. Replace the factory break-in oil and filters at 600 hours, then continue maintenance according to the recommended service schedule.
FAQ
What electrical service does it need?
The compressor requires 230V single-phase power and draws 28.8 full-load amps with a 1.15 service factor. EMAX recommends a 30A breaker. Have a licensed electrician verify circuit sizing and installation requirements.
Can it run all day, or does it need to cool down between cycles?
Yes. The oil-injected rotary screw air end is designed for up to 100% duty cycle operation, allowing continuous airflow throughout a full work shift without the frequent cycling of piston compressors.
Does it come with an air dryer and automatic drain?
Yes. The package includes a matched 30 CFM refrigerated air dryer mounted on a swing-arm system, along with a dual-timer automatic electric tank drain with adjustable 1–45 minute cycles.
What oil does it use, and how often?
The unit ships with factory break-in oil and filters. To maintain extended or lifetime warranty coverage, replace them with EMAX SMART OIL and new filters at 600 hours, then follow the recommended maintenance schedule. Oil capacity is 1.33 gallons.
Where should it be installed?
Install the unit in a clean, well-ventilated area with ambient temperatures below 100°F. Avoid dusty environments such as granite, marble, or concrete shops unless the compressor has a dedicated dust-free enclosure with proper ventilation. Excessive heat or fine dust exposure can void warranty coverage.
