The EMAX Silent Air Industrial Plus ESP07V080V1 is a 7.5 HP two-stage air compressor built for shops that need dependable airflow throughout the day. Powered by 230V single-phase electricity, it delivers 31 CFM at 100 PSI and 26 CFM at 175 PSI from an 80-gallon vertical tank, making it suitable for impact tools, grinders, sanders, plasma cutters, and other demanding applications. The pressure-lubricated 100% cast iron Eaton pump is rated for an estimated 70,000-hour service life and includes a factory-installed magnetic starter. Note: this hard-wired unit requires a dedicated 50-amp circuit.

The patented Silent Air™ noise suppression system reduces intake noise — the loudest source of piston compressor sound — with noise-reducing baffle plates and high-capacity filter media for up to 50% quieter operation while keeping the compressor accessible for maintenance. Unlike enclosed cabinet systems, the external silencer design does not block service access. Inside, the pressure-lubricated pump uses a gear-driven oil pump, drilled crankshaft and connecting rod passages, and an automotive-style spin-on oil filter to deliver clean oil directly to critical wear points, helping the compressor handle continuous-duty workloads.

Built with cast iron cylinders, cylinder heads, high-pressure pistons, rebuildable connecting rods, and CNC-machined disc valves, this compressor is designed for long-term shop use. The 20-inch cast iron flywheel, dual B/C-width belt drive, dual-bolt belt tensioner, pump riser, and automatic tank drain improve cooling, reduce vibration, and simplify maintenance. • Pump Riser Cooling System — The raised pump mounting plate allows 360-degree airflow from the flywheel across the oil reservoir and beneath the pump for improved cooling performance.
• Electric Auto Drain — A dual-timer automatic drain removes moisture from the receiver tank on adjustable 1–45 minute intervals, with adjustable open duration and an included air muffler for quieter discharge.

Specifications

Warranty

EMAX provides a 1-year standard warranty for the compressor, beginning on the date of delivery, covering defects in materials, workmanship, and parts. The warranty also includes one year of labor performed by an authorized technician. To activate warranty coverage, the compressor must be registered with EMAX.

The standard warranty can be extended to 5 years through the EMAX Extended Warranty Program by completing registration, using EMAX SMART OIL, and following the required maintenance schedule. The 5-Year Extended Warranty Kit (EMAX part number EFKIT008AWBS), sold separately, includes SMART OIL and replacement filters required for 5–10 HP Silent Air electric models.

To maintain warranty eligibility, the factory break-in oil must be replaced within the first 70 hours of operation. After that, the oil must be changed again and then replaced every 6 months or 1,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first, using EMAX SMART OIL. The compressor oil level must be maintained at all times, as operating the unit with insufficient oil will void the warranty.
