The Pump: Iron, Two Stages, and Filtered Oil Supply
The pump uses a cast-iron construction with aluminum heads and compresses air in two stages. A high-efficiency fin-and-tube intercooler between the stages cools the air before it enters the second stage, reducing thermal stress and improving compression efficiency.
Stainless-steel reed valves with valve bumpers manage the intake and discharge cycles, while a gerotor positive-displacement oil pump and spin-on oil filter provide the lubrication system. Certification, Honestly
Our records identify the receiver as built to the ASME pressure-vessel code and list CSA among the unit's marks. Those certifications should be read specifically for what they cover: an ASME pressure-vessel certification applies to the tank, while a mark on the overall assembly does not necessarily satisfy every certification or listing requirement imposed by a local authority.
Insurers, fleet operators and certain jurisdictions may have specific requirements for permanently installed equipment. If that applies to your installation, verify the required listing or certification against the unit's data plate before purchase. We would rather resolve the question before the compressor ships than have it become an issue during inspection.
Before You Order — Please Confirm

The package name and feature list identify the compressor as fully pressure-lubricated, while a specification field records it as splash lubricated. Shipping and Delivery
This unit ships by freight within the lower 48 states, with the current freight cost calculated at checkout for your delivery address.
At approximately 995 lbs, the compressor will arrive on a freight truck and the customer is responsible for unloading it. Plan for a suitable forklift or loading dock, or arrange terminal pickup if the delivery location cannot accommodate the shipment. Residential addresses are subject to an additional residential-delivery fee, which will be reflected in the freight quote at checkout.
Inspect the machine before accepting the shipment. Check the receiver, feet, guards, gauges and other exposed components for signs of shipping damage. If you find damage, document it and have it recorded on the bill of lading before signing.
Warranty
The compressor includes a 1-year factory warranty, with the option to extend coverage to a 3-year “No Bull” warranty subject to the terms and conditions in Quincy's warranty handbook.
