The Air Dryer Question on This Part Number

There is an important discrepancy in the published data for this package. The manufacturer's feature list identifies an “Integrated Refrigerant Air Dryer,” and the description previously published on this page also described an integrated dryer. However, the specification table lists “No” in the Air Dryer field.

We will not resolve that discrepancy by choosing the more attractive answer. If an integrated dryer is important to your purchase, ask us before ordering and we will confirm the configuration against the current factory order sheet.

What the specification table does confirm is an aftercooler. It cools the compressed air as it leaves the airend, allowing a significant amount of bulk moisture to condense before the air enters the downstream system. That is useful moisture control, but it is not equivalent to a refrigerated air dryer and should not be represented as one.

If your shop already has a refrigerated dryer and appropriate filtration installed on the header, the built-in dryer question may not affect your decision. Either way, confirm the configuration before ordering rather than discovering the difference after delivery.

Gear Drive and Continuous Running

The electrical configuration requires particular attention. This is a 208–230/460V, 3-phase machine with a magnetic starter included. Quincy does not publish an amp draw or recommended breaker size for this model; both fields are listed as “Consult Certified Electrician.”

Shipping and Delivery

This unit ships by freight to addresses within the lower 48 states, with the current freight cost calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

We deliberately do not publish a fixed shipping figure because freight rates vary by destination and carrier. At this size and weight, unloading needs to be planned before shipment. Confirm that your location can accommodate the delivery, with a suitable loading dock or forklift with adequate capacity, or arrange pickup from the carrier's terminal if necessary.

Because the package is both heavy and relatively tall, check the unloading area and the entire route to the installation location before it ships. Residential deliveries are subject to an additional residential fee.

Warranty

The recorded standard warranty is 1 year for consumer use and 1 year for commercial use. An extended 3-year factory warranty is available, and the True Blue 5-Year Warranty applies when the unit is commissioned through a Quincy-authorized startup, subject to the applicable warranty terms.

Because authorized startup is a condition of the extended coverage, arrange it as part of the installation rather than afterward.
