Published information for the motor is inconsistent. The product title, model designation and page heading identify this compressor as a 15 HP machine, while one section of the specification data records a smaller motor rating along with a corresponding free-air-delivery figure.
We are carrying the 15 HP rating because it is the figure supported by the title, model designation and page heading, but we are not treating the conflicting specification as irrelevant. At this size, motor rating affects the electrical requirements as well as the compressor's expected output.
Confirm the motor rating and corresponding rated air delivery with us in writing before ordering. We will obtain both from Quincy so you can size the installation against the correct factory configuration.
Certification, Stated Plainly
The ASME designation applies specifically to the pressure vessel — the receiver, its design, materials and construction. It should not be interpreted as a certification of the complete compressor package, pump, motor or compressed-air quality.
Likewise, certification or listing marks do not replace local installation requirements, permits or any periodic pressure-vessel inspection that may apply in your jurisdiction. The electrical markings apply to the relevant electrical components and should be evaluated separately from the receiver certification.

Shipping and Delivery
