Belt Drive on This Particular Unit
The pump drive recorded for this model is belt driven. That is worth stating plainly because the drive type affects maintenance.
Belts are scheduled wear components. They should be inspected periodically for condition and tension and eventually replaced as part of normal maintenance. The upside is that belt drives are straightforward to service, relatively inexpensive to maintain and use widely available components.
Other compressors in the same QGS family use gear-driven airends instead. If avoiding belt maintenance is a priority, ask us about the comparable gear-driven models in the range. It is a genuine configuration difference worth considering before you order.

Shipping and Delivery
This unit ships by freight to addresses within the lower 48 states, with the current freight rate calculated at checkout for your delivery address.
We do not publish a fixed shipping figure because freight rates vary by destination and carrier. At this size and weight, you need to arrange unloading before shipment. Plan for a loading dock, an appropriately rated forklift or suitable terminal pickup if the destination cannot safely unload the machine.
Residential deliveries carry an additional residential-delivery fee.
Inspect the shipment carefully when it arrives. Check the crate, receiver, panels, gauges, fittings and other visible components for damage, and have any damage documented on the bill of lading before signing. Once a shipment has been signed for without damage being noted, resolving a freight-damage claim can become considerably more difficult.
Warranty
The recorded standard coverage is 1 year for consumer use and 1 year for commercial use. An extended 3-year factory warranty is available, and the True Blue 5-Year Warranty may apply when the unit is commissioned through a Quincy-authorized startup, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.
Because authorized startup is a condition of the extended coverage, arrange it as part of the installation rather than treating it as an optional service afterward.
If a fault develops, shut the compressor down and contact us before dismantling or opening the equipment. Opening the unit before the warranty claim has been evaluated can complicate the manufacturer's assessment and may affect coverage. Document the issue and let us coordinate the next step.
