The QT Pro 10 HP is Quincy’s straightforward 120-gallon shop compressor, built around a two-stage cast-iron pump, two-piece connecting rods, splash lubrication and a factory-fitted magnetic starter. The 230V, 3-phase motor drives the pump through a belt system, while a high-efficiency finned intercooler manages heat between compression stages. With a 175 PSI maximum pressure and a pump rated for more than 50,000 hours of service, it is designed for demanding shop air without adding features you may not need. Note: this configuration requires 230V, 3-phase power.
The two-stage design compresses air in two steps, cooling it through the intercooler between stages before the high-pressure cylinder brings it to final pressure. That approach controls operating temperatures and makes sustained 175 PSI operation practical. The two-piece connecting rods and splash-lubricated pump also keep the mechanical design relatively simple, while the belt drive allows the pump to operate at a lower speed than the motor. An oil sight glass provides a quick way to monitor the lubrication level.
This model is best suited to automotive service bays, tire shops, agricultural facilities and heavy-equipment workshops where compressed air is primarily used for impact tools, ratchets, blowguns, lifts and other intermittent-demand equipment. The vertical 120-gallon receiver keeps the floor footprint to approximately 40" × 30", but the unit stands about 75" tall and weighs roughly 1,000 lbs dry, so plan for a solid, level slab, suitable anchoring, adequate service clearance and sufficient ventilation.
This configuration does not include an aftercooler, electronic tank drain or low-oil shut-off switch. That means more moisture can travel downstream, condensate must be drained manually and oil level requires routine inspection. For general shop air, those trade-offs may be acceptable; applications involving paint or plasma cutting should plan for appropriate downstream air treatment. The 1" tank outlet, electrical circuit, site preparation and installation are the customer's responsibility, with breaker and conductor sizing determined by a certified electrician.
Fewer Parts, Simpler Maintenance
Quincy's two-piece connecting rods simplify the pump design and reduce potential wear points. The splash-lubricated system uses an oil sight glass for quick level checks, while the belt drive keeps pump speed lower and helps reduce crankshaft shock loads. Quincy rates the pump for 50,000+ hours of service.
Two-Stage Compression at 175 PSI
Air is compressed in two stages with a finned intercooler between them. Cooling the air before the second stage reduces heat and improves efficiency, allowing the compressor to reach 175 PSI reliably.
Three Features It Does Not Have
-
No aftercooler: More moisture can reach the air lines, so painting or plasma work may require additional drying.
-
No electronic drain: The receiver must be drained manually; an automatic drain can be added.
-
No low-oil shutoff: Oil level must be checked regularly through the sight glass.

Certification, Stated Plainly
This unit has an ASME-certified tank with the required pressure relief valve and receiver fittings. It also carries a CSA mark. Our supplier data references an additional North American third-party electrical listing, but we have not confirmed it, so we will not claim it.
If a specific electrical listing is required by your insurer or inspector, ask us to verify the data plate before ordering.
Shipping and Delivery
Ships by freight to the lower 48 states, crated on a skid. Arrange a forklift or loading dock before delivery; terminal pickup is also available.
Residential deliveries may incur an additional fee.
Inspect the shipment before signing. Photograph any damage and record it on the bill of lading while the driver is present.
Warranty
Includes a 1-year factory warranty for consumer and commercial use. Purchasing the EWK-4 Maintenance Kit with the compressor and registering the unit with Quincy extends coverage to the 3-year "No Bull" warranty, including on-site service and labor.
