The slow-running design is backed by a pump built for long-term service. Cast-iron construction provides the mass and durability needed for a compressor designed to accumulate hours rather than simply maximize output from a compact package. Two-piece connecting rods allow service without removing the crankshaft, while finned cooling helps manage operating temperatures.
