The QT Pro 5 HP air compressor combines a horizontal 80-gallon receiver with a two-stage industrial pump for facilities that have the right three-phase power but limited ceiling height. The 460V 3-Phase motor draws less current than lower-voltage versions of the same 5 HP package, making this configuration well suited to buildings with higher-voltage distribution and longer electrical runs. The pump delivers 17.2 CFM at 175 PSI, while a factory-mounted magnetic starter with thermal overload and low-oil shutdown provides built-in protection.
The horizontal receiver keeps the machine to approximately 47" tall while putting the drain, oil sight glass, and belt guard within easier reach. The pump uses cast iron construction with an aluminum head, splash lubrication, and two-stage compression with a high-efficiency finned intercooler between stages. This cooling helps manage operating temperatures and supports the 175 PSI working pressure. An oversized oil reservoir helps control oil temperature during continuous operation, while the slow-speed ODP motor reduces heat and component wear. Automatic condensate draining also removes the need for routine manual tank draining.
This configuration is designed for industrial buildings with 460V three-phase service, particularly facilities where lower current is advantageous for longer cable runs. The horizontal tank makes it a practical choice for low-ceiling plant rooms, bays, and workshops where an upright 80-gallon compressor will not fit. It is also suited to production environments, fabrication shops, blasting applications, and other operations requiring continuous compressed air from multiple tools or workstations.
Certification, Stated Plainly
The listing supports two claims: a coded pressure vessel built to American standards with relief valves, and UL/CSA recognition for the electrical components.
These are not the same as a third-party safety listing for the complete assembled machine. If your insurer, inspector, or facility standard requires that specific listing, confirm the required documentation with us before ordering.
Shipping & Receiving
Ships palletized freight throughout the lower 48 states, with shipping calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
Plan unloading in advance. Have a loading dock, forklift, or pallet jack ready on firm, level ground. If unavailable, terminal pickup may be an option. Residential delivery carries an additional fee.
Inspect before signing. Photograph the pallet and crate, and record any damage on the bill of lading with the driver present. Damage discovered after a clean signature may be difficult to claim.

Warranty
The machine includes a 1-Year factory warranty and extends to Quincy's 3-Year “No Bull” warranty when the required maintenance kit is purchased with the compressor and the unit is registered. The extended coverage includes on-site labor and service for covered defects in materials and workmanship.
