Water Control Starts at the Compressor
Compressed air carries moisture from the ambient air. As it cools, that moisture condenses in receivers and downstream piping, where it can damage tools, affect finishes and contribute to corrosion.
The air-cooled aftercooler removes heat before the air reaches the receiver, helping reduce the moisture load downstream. A high-efficiency fin-and-tube intercooler between the two compression stages also cools the air before the second stage, improving compression efficiency.

Two Details to Confirm Before Ordering
Two specifications appear differently across the published sources. We are showing both rather than guessing.
Pump lubrication. The manufacturer feature list and page description call this a fully pressure-lubricated system with a positive-displacement oil pump feeding the crankshaft, bearings and connecting rods. The specification data lists splash lubrication instead. These are different systems. If lubrication type matters to your purchase, ask us to confirm the as-shipped configuration with Quincy in writing before ordering.
Tank drain. The feature list and specification table state that an automatic electronic tank drain is included, while another specification line says it is not. We can confirm this with Quincy before you order.
These discrepancies do not change the published capacity, receiver, electrical supply or warranty.
Certification, Stated Plainly
The specification sheet records ASME, UL and CSA marks. Their scopes are different:

Warranty
Quincy provides a 1-year factory warranty, with coverage extending to the 3-year No Bull warranty when the unit is registered with Quincy and maintained using Quincy kits.
Register promptly after delivery. If a problem occurs, contact us before disassembling the pump or starter. A dismantled machine can make proper diagnosis and warranty evaluation difficult.
