The two-stage compression system uses a high-efficiency fin-and-tube intercooler between stages to cool the air before final compression. The result is cooler, denser air entering the second cylinder, helping the pump reach its rated pressure while reducing thermal stress. A mounted air-cooled aftercooler then lowers discharge temperature before air enters the receiver, encouraging moisture to condense at the compressor instead of farther down the shop air line. A spin-on oil filter, oil sight glass, low-oil shutoff, and magnetic starter with thermal overload protection provide additional protection during demanding operation.
This compressor is a strong fit for general automotive repair shops, tire and suspension facilities, and multi-bay workshops where several pneumatic tools may operate at the same time. Two-Stage Compression & Cooling
The two-stage pump divides compression between a larger first-stage cylinder and a smaller second-stage cylinder. Between them, a high-efficiency fin-and-tube intercooler removes heat before the second stage.
Cooling the air between stages helps the second stage compress cooler, denser air while reducing thermal stress. Cast-iron cylinders, aluminum heads and a mounted air-cooled aftercooler complete the cooling system, with the aftercooler reducing discharge temperature before air enters the receiver and helping moisture condense at the compressor.
Built-In Protection
The pump includes a spin-on oil filter, oil sight glass and low-oil shutoff. The filter removes contaminants from the lubrication system, the sight glass makes oil level checks straightforward, and the low-oil protection shuts the machine down when lubrication becomes insufficient.
A magnetic starter with thermal overload protection protects the motor from overload conditions.

This unit’s recorded certifications include ASME pressure-vessel code for the receiver and a CSA mark. ASME certification applies specifically to the pressure vessel, not automatically to the complete machine. Inspect the unit before signing for delivery. Check the tank, feet, belt guard, gauges, and cooler, and record any damage on the bill of lading with the driver present.
