The cooling and lubrication systems are designed around the demands of continuous compressor operation. An electronically balanced, fan-type cast-iron flywheel moves air across the fin-and-tube intercooler, cylinders, and heads while the pump runs, helping control operating temperature and reduce vibration. Cast-iron cylinders add durability, while the intercooler lowers the temperature between compression stages. Inside the pump, a Gerotor positive-displacement oil pump sends pressurized oil to the crankshaft, bearings, and rods, with a spin-on filter cleaning the circulating lubricant. Quincy rates this lubrication system for up to 15% longer life than a splash-lubricated pump.

The Flywheel Is Part of the Cooling System
The electronically balanced, fan-type cast-iron flywheel moves air across the intercooler, cylinders and heads as the pump operates. Its balanced design also helps minimize vibration at operating speed.
Combined with cast-iron cylinders and a high-efficiency fin-and-tube intercooler, the cooling system helps control operating temperatures and protect sealing and lubrication performance.

These certifications do not certify the compressed air, replace local permitting requirements, or eliminate pressure-vessel inspection requirements where applicable. Confirm your local requirements before installation.

Before ordering, plan for unloading. The unit requires a forklift or loading dock, or you can arrange terminal pickup. Residential delivery carries an additional residential fee.
Inspect the shipment before signing. Check the receiver, guards, gauges and packaging for damage, and record any issues on the bill of lading while the driver is present.
Warranty
Includes a 1-year Quincy factory warranty, with extended coverage available when the unit is registered and maintained using the required Quincy maintenance kit listed in the specifications.
Register the compressor promptly after delivery. If a fault occurs, contact us before opening or disassembling any components. Disassembly before a warranty claim can affect coverage.
