The Atlas 414A is a 14,000 lb four-post alignment lift built to commercial grade with built-in slip plates and alignment turntables included — the turntables adjust to multiple positions along the runway to accommodate different wheelbases, and metal cover plates replace them when the lift is used for standard service work rather than alignment, making the 414A a dual-purpose lift rather than a dedicated alignment-only rack. It runs on 220V single-phase power with a 30-amp breaker, uses an air-operated single-point lock release requiring an external air supply, and ships at approximately 3,200 lbs — delivery requires access for a 53-foot truck. Backed by a 5-year structural and 2-year hydraulic parts warranty.

The lifting system uses a high-strength cable with an under-runway oversized hydraulic cylinder — a meaningful construction difference from the chain-and-exposed-cylinder systems used by many competitors. Exposed hydraulic cylinders positioned between the runways are a known source of door damage during loading and unloading; the under-runway cylinder eliminates that contact point entirely. The lock ladder design with a double lock safety system holds the lift at working height with redundant engagement, and tracks between the runways accept a rolling bridge jack (Atlas RJ8000BK, sold separately) for suspension unloading and axle work without moving the vehicle off the rack. Steel approach ramps are included; additional drive-off ramps and runway extensions are available separately.
