Atlas 7K-Kwik-Bay 7,000 lb Portable Mid-Rise Lift

The Atlas 7K Kwik Bay is a 7,000 lb freestanding portable mid-rise scissor lift built for commercial quick-service bays and wheel service operations that need drive-over convenience at a working height over 39 inches. Unlike arm-style mid-rise lifts that require positioning swing arms under specific lifting points, the Kwik Bay uses a drive-over ramp design — the vehicle drives onto the platform, the operator positions the heavy-duty rubber block assemblies under the correct lifting points, and the lift raises. The approach ramps lock horizontal to extend the effective lifting surface from 57 inches to 78 inches, adding 10 inches on each end for longer wheelbase vehicles. It runs on 110V electric power with an air-operated single-point lock release requiring an external air supply. Delivery requires access for a 53-foot truck. Dual hydraulic cylinders and solid safety lock bars hold the platform stable at all lock positions, and the open center design gives clear undercarriage access across the full platform width — the access geometry that closed-superstructure mid-rise lifts block. Grease zerk fittings at the hinge points allow routine lubrication without disassembly. Two important operating notes: position the vehicle frame at least 6 inches from the inside platform edges — weight concentrated near the edges on open scissor lifts without a cross-support bar can cause platform toe-in. A scissor lift support bar kit is available separately for narrow-frame heavy vehicles. As with all horizontal cylinder scissor lifts, allow 2–6 inches of clearance between the lift surface and the vehicle's lifting points.
