The Atlas® SLP9K full-rise scissor lift is a 9,000 lb capacity above-ground lift designed for shops and garages that need full lifting height without committing to bulky two-post or four-post columns. It combines a low-profile entry height with a 78-inch full rise, making it capable of lifting passenger cars, SUVs, and many pickup trucks while still maintaining a clean, open work area.
One of its biggest advantages is its space-saving scissor design, which keeps the entire lifting system contained within the floor footprint. This makes it especially useful in bays where ceiling height or layout limits traditional lifts, or where a clutter-free workspace is preferred. It can also be flush-mounted into the floor, allowing vehicles to drive over it from any direction and position easily on the platforms—ideal for fast workflow and flexible shop layouts.
The SLP9K uses a hydraulic/electric system powered by a 220V single-phase unit housed in a separate control cabinet. Operation is managed through simple push-button controls, while an automatic 10-position air-actuated locking system engages as the lift rises and releases during lowering. A built-in safety feature pauses descent at approximately 10.5 inches from the ground, requiring a second command to fully lower—adding an extra layer of control during use.
Platform spacing is adjustable up to 31 inches, allowing it to accommodate unibody cars, SUVs, and light trucks. However, for heavier trucks with narrow frames, Atlas recommends using the optional support bar kit to better distribute weight across the platforms.
This lift is best suited for professional service shops, detailing and inspection facilities, or advanced home garages that want full-rise capability with a compact footprint and flexible installation options. It carries a 1-year structural and 1-year hydraulic warranty (parts only) and requires delivery access for a 53' truck.
