The Katool C9372 is a combination disc and drum brake lathe that handles both rotor and drum machining on a single machine — covering rotor diameters from 4" to 20" (102–508mm) and drum diameters from 6" to 19.5" (152–500mm). That range accommodates the majority of passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs without adapter swaps for different vehicle sizes. A quick-changeover design lets you transition between disc and drum work without a lengthy teardown between jobs.
The infinitely adjustable feed rates — not stepped presets — give the operator direct control over cutting speed throughout the job. That matters when moving between a rough cut to clean up a heavily worn rotor and a finish pass that determines surface quality. The difference between a stepped and infinite feed adjustment shows up in the final result, particularly on rotors where surface finish affects brake pad seating and noise. An automatic stop function halts the machine at the end of the cut rather than requiring the operator to monitor and intervene, which reduces the chance of overcutting and keeps the workflow consistent. A comprehensive adapter package ships with the machine to cover a broad range of brake components without sourcing additional tooling separately.
The C9372 is a practical fit for auto repair shops that handle brake service regularly and want to resurface rather than replace where the rotor or drum still has material to work with, brake and alignment specialists who need a reliable lathe that covers both disc and drum in a single footprint, and dealership service departments processing a variety of makes and models where rotor and drum size varies significantly across the vehicle mix.
