The Katool KT-X85-ELECTRIC is the electric safety release version of Katool's 8,000 lb (3,500 kg) mid-rise scissor lift — no compressed air source required, making it the straightforward choice for home garages and shops without a compressor already plumbed into the bay. It carries CE certification tested at 115% dynamic and 150% static load capacity, and runs on 110V or 220V single-phase, 60 Hz service. Like the KT-X80, it installs as either a portable or fixed-mount unit — the included mobility kit lets it roll between positions, or it anchors permanently when the layout is set.

The 24V low-voltage control system with a height limit switch prevents overtavel during the lift cycle, and the electric safety release lowers the platform through the hydraulic circuit without requiring a separate air line or manual bleed procedure. The aluminum motor with an integrated cooling fan manages heat during extended operation, keeping performance consistent through a full day of cycling. Composite rubber lifting blocks protect pinch welds and rocker panels on contact, self-lubricated bushings and bearings reduce routine maintenance, and the drive-up ramp lock design extends the platform for longer wheelbase vehicles — full-size trucks and vans that would overhang a standard scissor deck.

The KT-X85-ELECTRIC is the right fit for home garage owners and small shops that want CE-certified mid-rise performance without adding compressed air infrastructure, detailing and inspection operations running the lift repeatedly through a shift where a clean electric release cycle is faster than a manual pneumatic procedure, and anyone upgrading from a lower-capacity scissor lift who wants a higher weight rating without stepping up to a full two-post installation.
